Label and certification
Entropik offers products and services entirely made in Switzerland. We have been certified by the Swiss Union of Crafts and Trades since 2019.
This certification is a symbol of quality, safety, seriousness and reliability, both for our company and for the services we offer, but also a guarantee of proximity for the regional companies that mandate us.
In order to operate with heavy drones, we have completed a training course from the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), which is recognised at European level by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). They know the rights and duties in Switzerland and in border areas.
Drones and pilots are registered with Swiss authorities.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We are concerned about our environment and about which kind of planet we will pass on to future generations. Therefore, we observe a number of "green" measures and try to minimise our impact on the environment.
Energy
When it comes to energy, we focus on the exclusive use of rechargeable batteries. These are refilled at night, when the maximum amount of energy is available.
We also pay special attention to turning off as many standby devices as possible to save energy (monitors, printers, etc.).
In winter, we maintain a maximum temperature of 21°C when the heating is on. The insulation of the offices and the conference room was reinforced in 2018 to minimise energy loss. In summer, we refrain from air conditioning the rooms, favoring natural draughts.
The studio's lighting is 100% LED. There are no longer any tungsten or neon lamps.
As tenants, we do not have the possibility to install photovoltaic panels to offset our electricity consumption.
Water
Since the development laboratory was abolished some fifteen years ago, we have greatly reduced our consumption of clean water and our discharge into waste water.
Our toilets are equipped with separate dispensers and we encourage users to choose the one with the smallest amount of water.
Recycling
The studio has implemented selective waste collection for several years. We recycle compostable waste, plastic, paper, glass, cardboard, scrap metal, wood and inert waste. All these elements are used in the different setups we photograph or film for our clients.
Most raw materials and objects are "upcycled" and used several times. Appliances are returned to the sorting centres once they are no longer in use or are dysfunctional.
We also attach great importance to limiting the use of paper, for example by favoring textile backgrounds, or by refraining from printing most administrative documents.
Mobility
We encourage teleworking to avoid unnecessary transport.
We promote soft mobility for short trips (e.g. electric bicycle) or public transportation when possible. Finally, we try to minimise travel and transport of materials. However, this is where we must concentrate our efforts in the future.
ESG score
CRIF distributes the ESG score of companies evaluated and listed in the commercial register to companies with a legitimate interest - for example in the procurement sector for the analysis of the sustainability of suppliers, in the banking sector in the context of granting sustainable credit in operations with companies.
The ESG score, for example, has long been a feature of the capital markets in other European countries. There, companies often only obtain financing from their banks after presenting a sustainability assessment.
In Switzerland, CRIF is helping companies to address the issue of sustainability at an early stage, even if there are no legal obligations (yet).
For its calculations, CRIF uses publicly available data (e.g. from the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, Open Street Map, the Swiss National Bank, etc.) as well as data specific to CRIF (e.g. for the composition of the management, etc.).
In addition, their web crawler looks for indications of sustainability on company websites (e.g. whether sustainability reports are published or whether relevant ISO certifications are available).
Collaborative network
Entropik collaborates in a participatory way with freelancers and other commercial entities, all active in the fields of communication and the Internet.
Depending on the mandates, these professionals support us in order to complement our skills and offer new, agile, constructive and novel solutions.
This approach allows us to offer quality services, always carried out by specialists, at concise costs.
